Sign of the Times

Tristan: "What are you going to be when you grow up?"

Charlotte: "A Mommy-Teacher. That's what Ms. Garneau was."

Tristan: "What if you lose your job? You know you could lose your job."

Charlotte: "Then I will stay home like Mom and work on documents."

Tristan: "You know that job is hard Charlotte. And you have to go down to California first."

This is where I interjected to say you didn't have to start your job in California and that Charlotte would probably be okay. And then Tristan started to complain about the "bad economy" again. At least he knows what it is now instead of thinking it is someone out to get him!
